If you're torn whether to visit Ayutthaya, Sukothai, Chiang Mai, Floating Market or any other significant spots in Thailand but dont have enough time, then I suggest you visit Muang Boran.
Muang Boran, is an outdoor museum in Samut Prakan covering 96 hectares or 240 acres with scaled models or replicas of ancient city ruins and historical monuments from various parts of Thailand. This outdoor museum preserves the past architecture, art and culture of the different regions in Thailand with ruins and monuments located in an area in the shape of the map of Thailand. source
In other words, this place is like a huge open-air museum showcasing Thailand and other nearby's countries temples and structures. Amazing eh?
Going there: take the BTS to On Nut station and from there ride a taxi. Im not very much comfortable in riding their buses, parang luma.. hehe
Entrance is 350 baht. Golf Cart rental is 100baht/hour (good for 2pax)
oh man, we had so fun driving this golf cart!The place has 73 attractions to see, too bad we only had 3 hours to spend. We wasted no time and started to stroll the area. Btw, the best part of this trip (aside from driving the golf cart) is that we had each spot all by ourselves. Super konti ng tao unlike sa super crowded Grand Palace complex.
the City Wall and GateThe map provided is very easy to use. Plus, each attraction has a signboard in-front of each spot that tells the story or a brief history. Very interesting.

I assumed we only got to visit half of all the attractions. Sayang. Every structure is interesting pa naman. Well, mas matimbang samin ni Sol ang makakita ng Penguin Show so we rushed back to Siam and watched them at Siam Ocean World.

Wow! Ang ganda ng lugar. :) Pangarap ko talaga makapunta sa mga historic places. May mga meaning pala ang hand positions. Ngayon ko lang nalaman, hehe.
Bago ito ano? Ngayon ko lang kasi narinig. Pero with regards to outdoor miniature versions in South East Asia, nauna pa sana ang Pilipinas noon with the original Nayong Pilipino.
Parang thai version pala 'to ng Nayong Pilipino. Anyway, open to visitors pa rin ba yung Nayong Pilipino? Mukhang hindi na eh. I'm very excited for BNP. Kaya lang mukhang bagal ng progress.

Oy nakapunta din ako diyan! Sumakay din kami sa golf cart pare malibot 'yung place, and we even had our lunch there. Argh! I miss Thailand! :(

at talagang nahanap mo tong lugar na to. impressed nako sa research mo!!!! ganda no? ang laki naman ng lugar----para ka lang nasa disneyland except wlang rides pero replicas ng mga temples and the like. at totoo yan---masarap i-drive ang golf car. brake at gasulina lang e.
