Revisiting Five Cows

First visited Five Cows 2 years ago. I remembered I asked a waiter why it was called Five Cows. He said this resto offers meals and dishes which came from five dairy products. Oh I see! Ü

Main dishes may not satisfy me sometimes, but their desserts never fail to impress guests. And that's the exact reason why I keep coming back once in a while.

(Blurry shots set. I arrived late and these food are already served so I just made a quick photoshoot.)

what's new at Five Cows

Grilled Maple Porkies with Mashed Potato
The dish I frequently order. It tasted better this time. Finally!

Salpicao
Second best against the first dish.

Creamy Beef and Wild Mushroom
Still creamy and tasty.

Vongole
Not a fan. Di ko tinikman. Ü

Howkey, time for the "highlight of the show".

Rocky Almond Bar
I visit Five Cows time and again for this ice cream cake.
Masarap noon hanggang ngayon!

Blueberry Cheesecake
Still tastes so-so. Parang wala lang na ice cream cake.

Prices have increased. The taste somehow improved.
But i think i will still come back for the Rocky Almond Bars pag namiss ko na ulit! Adik lang! Ü

we've also tried five cows last year but only their sweet cold treats. we have yet to experience their entrees and that flaming alaska (white spiked dome shaped meringue that's served with flame after a rum is poured dramatically right before your table).

Wala kang in-order na ice cream, Chyng.

Siguradong masarap ang pork skin na 'yon.

I've tried many desserts at Five Cows. Smores and Ferrero Crunch use to be my favorites too.

Flaming Alaska looks fabulous. But the taste isn't. I still go for the Rocky Almond Bars.

Vongole looks yummy, sana you tried it. =) Regarding taking photos of the food, nung nagsisimula pa lang ako sa food photography for blogging nagkaron ng implicit rule na wala munang kakain hangga't hindi ko pa napicture-an lahat ng items. hahaha.
