my.besfren's.sick

.::. 10.jan.2008 I receivd a text message from Louie. My besfren is sick daw. Natawa pako kc pangarap ni Cheche maospital. We are classmates since kinder to elementary to highschool, at nver kc un ngkasakit. Aun, dengue daw. And she's not doing good. Her platelet dropped to 120. na-alarmed nako. Medical City Ortigas pla nakaconfine. Di ko feel dumalaw mag-isa so i textd josel. Sakto halfday dw cia sa friday. mgrerenew ng lisensya.

:: 11.jan.2008 5days na nakaconfine c Che but she keeps getting worse. Acdg to the last CBC of cheche, 80 nlang ang platelet count nia. Not good. ang alam ko kc, kpg 50 na, mgkakaron na ng bleeding. Dati i was scared tlga kc daw lalabas ang dugo sa pores! (yikes! unfabuloush naman..) Being the maarte girl, uminom tlga ko ng 5 glasses of liquid per hour para di mngyare un! Yes na-dengue ako one month before the board exam.

..brief history lang..
oct-something-2006 nsa bahay namen mga classmates ko nun para sa group study. 1 week na dn taas baba ang lagnat ko. Pero hu cares- wala ng apektado pg my sakit ako. sbe nila- hobby ko nga dw. lahat sanay na. so deadma. finally naconvince nako mgpacheck up ni papa kc mejo sumakit tyan ko. so sbe ko kay makis "teka lang ah, d2 ka lang, papacheck up lang ako.." at nde na pla ako nakabalik dahil nconfine nako! hahhaha

kaya kpg wala ng platelets, my bleeding na! wow, logical! =)

going back to cheche,
aside from 80 nalang ang platelet count nia, her gall bladder began to swell. Josel and I decided to visit her. Almost 8pm na kame nakarating dun. Sobrang traffic sa Julia Vargas. Buti nalang my elevator from basement kaya nde na kme sinita ng guard. Til 7 lang yta visitors.

We finally arrived at room 425. First word na cnbe nia saken "im dying.." Ngpapatawa pa! Lam kong nghihina na cia. 5 days na ciang nakaconfine pero her condition keeps getting worse. Wla kc gamot sa dengue.. Kakagising lang dw nia. Gusto nia lagi matulog para nde maramdaman ang sakit. Kawawa naman besfren ko.. I held her hand. I know she'll make it.

As of this writing, her platelet dropped to 60 na. At ngbleed na ang gums nia. Finally sinalinan na cia ng dugo. Kso ngkaron naman daw ng tubig ang baga nia. Pero all of these will be back to normal once na tumaas na ult cna platelets.

Hay nako, PRAYERS at GATORADE lang gamot jan!
