Spiral Buffet at Sofitel

I know Im not a good buffet eater, but it's just hard to resist Spiral's Buffet Promo. My friend Kat and I gave in to temptation as we bought 2 vouchers from CashCashPinoy some months ago. Spiral's Buffet promo rate is delightfully priced at P1,400 only. This also includes bottomless iced tea. Good enough compared with their normal dinner buffet rate at P2,564 (seriously, ganyan ka-mahal!)

And since Kat and I cant get enough of the prime ribs and salmon, we went back to get another plate. A full one.

Im not really a fan of Chinese food, but for this session, I gave it a try.

We were so full, but we remembered to try the most raved about, not to mention expensive, Foie Gras dish.

err, im not impressed. or dahil hindi ako sanay sa pagkaing mahal?! ^_^

To wash away the liver taste, we tried these varieties of cheese and spreads.

not sure if these versions are good. im not a fan of cheese.

Just when Kat and I were taking a break before eating dessert, Sugar (a staff) handed me a box of specialty cake! Ansaya! Thank you!

Highly recommended. Prime ribs at baked salmon palang, sulit na sulit na! Im sure I'll go back here, hopefully to treat my parents next time. Abang-abang muna ulit ng promo! ^_^

Here goes my Club Room experience at Sofitel. An overnight stay in this luxurious five-star hotel.

Club Sofitel

Lobby isn't that grand as I expected. No high ceilings. No chandeliers. What's present in the lobby are the videographers, photographers, and a bunch of wedding entourage. And there were at least 2 wedding preps that's happening that time! The lobby is nothing but crowded.

Anyway, my friend Remay booked a superior room for P8,000++, without breakfast. Luckily, the staff upgraded our accommodation to a Club Room. Sweet!

Club Room @ Sofitel

The room is nice, but it still fell short our expectations. Nothing to complain about the facilities but it just looked too simple for a Club Room. Mind you the actual cost of this room is at least P11,000.

L'Occitane (only!)

The bathroom is spacious. Toiletries provided are L'Occitane's. Shower room is big too. But the bathtub is missing. And I dont understand why.

Overall, I think this room best suits the people with business purpose. But for those who want to experience luxury in a 5-star hotel, this is not the perfect room for you. Oakwood Premier is better.
