Originally - Nina, Dyan and I planned to revisit the gorgeous beach in Calaguas. But since the weather was not cooperative and the waves are notorious (in the summer month of March?!) we decided to cancel the beach trip. (Dyan must have really been delighted, you have no idea how much energy we exerted just to convince her about the boat ride in that supposedly Calaguas trip Ü).
And so we ended up in CWC instead. Not bad, it's another new adventure for me to try! Been hearing a lot of this wakeboarding activity, now it's time for us to experience it!
Upon landing in Naga airport, we looked for CWC's shuttle. Yes, it's a free ride to the wakeboarding complex. How convenient! Anyone can ride this shuttle, whether you're a stay in guest or not.
The staffs welcomed and accommodated us. We told them we're not checking in. We're just there fora day trip. They immediately assigned a shuttle to drive us to the wakeboarding complex itself.
In the meantime, the girls were busy..
sige nga, turuan mo yan!
yare ka kay Ati pag wala kang natutunan! haha!
Moving on.. ^_^
We finally reached the place. It's indeed world class. No wonder, international competitions are being held here.
For beginners, it's advisable to try knee-boarding first. and I wasn't surprised that the briefing only took 5 minutes. Haha
The equipment and the whole area look intimidating (and this activity looks scary too), no one wanted to be the 1st to go!
But before I knew it, the cable already pulled me away!
It's not as easy as you think, but it's addicting! No wonder, we found ourselves doing it over and over again. Knee boarding is exciting. But actual wakeboarding (standing position) is even better for sure.
The cable in Winch Park pulls slower than those in the main Cable Park. Perfect for beginners. Again, we were briefed for 5 mins, and we're good to go!
I admit I had several attempts first before I can actually stand up. Lunod moments sa slimy waters. Eekie! But finally...
After lunch, we headed to the pool. There's no extra charges for using this facility.
It's too hot, di keri ng balat ko ang tindi ng sikat ng araw so only Nina and Dyan managed to swim. FYI, im not a fan of swimming pools.
After a while, we spent our time watching the dare devils do some tricks. Impressive! =)
..and opcors, boy watching! ^_^
I admit I was hesitant about this CWC plan at first so I was surprised to see myself enjoying this whole experience.
We left CWC and proceeded to SM Naga. Dine at Bigg's of course!
Now, where did we sleep that day?
We'd like to thank Casa Ofelia for accommodating us for free. Take a look at this secluded resort.

There are many ways to get to CWC. We flew from Manila, but if you are visiting other cities such as Batangas, you will be able to make it a 4 hour road trip. As far as booking hotels in Batangas and CWC, Expedia always offers great deals.
I look forward to a lot more of our laugh trips slash travels together!
Thank you mga teh! Paaaak! ♥
