Last week my mother forced me to go our community hospital. Baka makakuha kame ng free medicines dun. Would be a great help nga naman, besides mahabang gamutan ang 6 to 9 months.
I got a number from a masunget na guard.
I waited 10 million hours para matawag.
An annoying nurse got my BP ang my body temperature.
I waited 10 million hours again.
Finally there's a the doctor na!
Di pa ko nakakaupo sa loob ng room..
Doctora: bakit ka nandito?
Me: huh? uhm, i'm sick. an internist diagnosed me blah blah
Doctorang bruha: so bakit ka pa andito? alam mo naman pala sakit mo?!
taas ng kilay. then walkout..
Di ko kinaya. MGA BASTOS!
Teka, di ba nila alam na MALAKI ANG BINABAYAD KONG TAX?! punyeta!
Ganito ba talaga eksena sa mga government hospitals? Ang rude ng mga doctors! Di nako babalik dito. My mga tutulong naman saken sa expenses ko sa gamots.
Kawawa naman yung ibang pasyente. No choice silang awayin at sungitan bago asikasuhin..

dren: ano bawal sayo? sakin kasi yosi, softdrinks, kape, etc.. else matutuloy to sa gastric cancer!
me: walang bawal. pero pag meron pa ding smoking activities, might lead to lung cancer!
dren: grabe no, cancer na pinag-uusapan naten ngayon. tapos si 23 my kuliti lang kung makapagreklamo kala mo malala na cia!

if you have a friend who's working on a private hospital, you can maybe ask your medicine there.. i think meron silang benefit na makakuha ng gamot for free... try mu lang.. ganyan kasi ang ginagawa ng Ate ko na Nurse sa isang lola ko before...
waaaahahaha! healthy naman HearT nyo right? tingin ko don ako mahina ngayon.. lately kasi lagi ng sumisikip... hehehe! pero im OK. :)
ang mga doctor sa gov't hospital have seen the worst... yung mga di talaga na kinaya ng mabait nilang puso ay superficially antipako or detached, kasi hindi lang sakit ng pasyente ang hinaharap nila, pati mga reklamo sa buhay, sa anak, asawa, sa gobyerno at marami pang bagay-bagay
pati kwento ng mga nabigong pangarap at paano sila tinalikuran ng sarili nilang pamilya..etc etc..
yeah she could have more humane when she approached you, pero for sure she was having a bad day..
considering you and your taxes, doctors also pay taxes, even if they are in gov't hospital..di ba double whammy sa kanila yun

hay naku. masanay ka na sa kanila. kahit saang govt agency, masungit ang staff.
ewan ako, by experience kasi ganun eh. dapat tinuturuan tong mga to eh. heller, mga tax kaya natin ang ipinambabayad sa kanila... at least that they can do is be nice to us.
sorry kung may natatamaan, pero totoo nmn kasi. (just like how you said "panget" to the manong in the bus! - ha ha ha)
hahaha... ayus na mga dialogues. hahaha... ako hypocondriac ako. lagi ko iniisip na may sakit ako.

i did my affiliations sa sangkatutak na government hospitals during may internship... pansin ko nga maiinitin ang mga ulo nila lalo na ang mga doctors at midwifes... nakakita ka na ba ng nanganganak ng sinisigawan at sinasampal??? hehe! pero yung iba naman they're unbelievably patient... sobrang hirap ng trabaho nila and they get almost nothing...

tama lang ginawa mo, sana sinermonan mo pa na tax mo ang binabayad sa kanya. hehe,. yan din mga dahilan kung bat ayoko nagpupunta sa mga clinic o hospital, papatayin ka sa kaka-antay tas ganun lang sasabihin.

un talaga ang peste sa government institutions dito. mga walang kwentang staff. puro masusungit. kala mo pinilit silang gawin ung mga ginagawa nila. they should have worked in a private institution kung ayaw nila ng masyadong hassle tas ibubuntong sa nangangailangan

i was referring sa tax kasi yung mga kasama kong nakapila sa hosp na yun mukhang mga housewives na hobby manganak at mukhang walang trabaho. and im not one of them kaya wag niako tarayan!

Sobrang mao-offend din ako kung nangyari sa'kin 'yun. I understand how you felt nung nangyari yun.
But Dabo also has a point, those doctors might have been having a bad day nung time na 'yun. They may be having their own personal issues tapos they've been dealing with people who are also disrespectful. Minsan akala ng mga tao dahil Filipino sila, they deserve all the right to demand too much from the gov't. And if they can't get it at that moment, pwede silang magsisigaw or magalit. Baka lagi rin nasisigawan at inaaway ang mga doktor na yun. Kaya nahawa na rin sila. I know it's a lame excuse. Social change na rin siguro ang kailangan.
I know na alam mo naman 'to, but just as a reminder. It's really important that we treat people nicely (guilty ako, kasi minsan nagta-tantrums din ako). When we do this, somehow we also influence other people to do the same not only to us but also to others. Malay natin ang mga future gov't employees maging ganito rin ang motto. So in the future, wala nang masungit na gov't employees.
Let's also not lose hope with our government hospitals and offices. Kahit maraming masusungit na empleyado run, marami pa ring gov't employees na mababait. So if we get to meet them, magpasalamat tayo and recognize their kind act. Reinforce natin yung ganung ugali. And hopefully, ma-inspire din ang iba to do the same.

Dami ko rin bad experiences sa mga government hospitals. Taking into account na tax money ko dahilan kung bakit don sila. But we can't blame them sometimes. Siguro rude rin mga ibang tao sa kanila so they have to be that way. Diba nga kung mabait nakapaligid su, wala namang dahilan para maging rude diba? It's a matter of chicken and egg question nalng siguro. Sinu ba ang nagsimulang rude?
Anyways. kailangan talaga mahaba pasenya mo if you have to be in a government hospital in the Philippines....
Mahal talag ang mga gamot. But I suggest you try GENERICS DRUG STORE. Search for the nearest branch in your area. Marami ka matitipid.....
